A client-centred residential service for men who want to stop drinking alcohol

Established in 1985, Francis House residential rehabilitation centre has been supporting men with their recovery from alcohol addiction.

Situated in North Devon, Francis House (Assisi Community Care) operates an abstinence-based therapeutic model. It is set in seven acres of beautiful grounds with gardens and lakes where our residents quality of life can improve in a facility that is both peaceful and therapeutic for recovery from alcohol recovery.

We understand that there are many and varied reasons behind people becoming dependent upon alcohol.

Each person has a personalised package of support, care and treatment which is tailored to their individual needs and linked to their motivation in recovery.

We also provide treatment for people with a range of associated conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, sleep disorders, bereavement and loss and manageable Korsakoffs Amnesia.

Some people who come to stay with us may have physical needs for which we are able to provide non-nursing personal care.

We have good links with local community health services which are able to meet medical or nursing needs where necessary.

Do you think you have a alcohol problem?
