Homely and comfortable with single and shared rooms

Francis House

A seventeenth century manor house with a distinguished history having 9 twin-bedded rooms, three large lounges, dining room, kitchen and laundry with communal areas having picturesque rural views.

All of Francis House and its immediate surrounds are designated Smoke-Free.

Clare House

A modern building housing 18 single rooms, two lounges, recreation facilities, that include a full-size snooker table*, a pool table, a conservatory and for the more energetic a fully equipped gymnasium and separate mini gym.
* During the evening between 18.30 & 21.30 (booking is available).

Clare House and its immediate surrounds are designated Smoke-Free with some bedrooms designated Non-Smoke Free.

Other facilities

The therapy rooms include a music room, a chapel, a library and a housekeeping room. 

Internet access

A limited wireless internet access is often available during working hours in the therapy rooms and Clare House for your own laptop or PC.

Please note the wireless internet access is a benevolent service and there are no contractual obligations for Assisi Community Care to provide internet access. We will not be held liable for the content, legality or contamination that may occur to your computers whilst using Assisi Community Care’s internet access and access is subject to a fair use policy. The service will be stopped and charges can occur for excessive downloading.

If you require 24 hour internet access we suggest purchasing a mobile broadband dongle. 

Courtesy minibus

Transport is available twice weekly. Hospital transport may be available for appointments and regular bus service runs from Swimbridge village.
